Chateau Jasper

When we arrived to a long trip here we were turned away by the receptionist. Check-in is only possible from four o’clock and even after asking if she could let us know when the room was ready, she said ‘check-in is only possible from four o’clock’. So then we walked through the village for 3.5 hours and looked at the souvenir shops. Once in the room there were too few towels for the four of us. Also the wifi does not work. All in all not a nice experience.

Can’t believe the negative reviews. Firstly - very good sized rooms. Appreciate the two double beds. Appreciate the little kitchenette Nice toiletries Nice buffet breakfast Small bathroom but it has everything you need. Short walk to the town. ( so no city noise) Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely staff

Stayed here for two nights sightseeing. Staff very friendly and room large clean tidy, well maintained and everything worked. Pool and hot tub great. The hot tub was hot but no bubbles and to be fair needs regrouting but while we were there there was a maintenance team working around the hotel. Restaurant and bar limited but tasty menu bar doesn’t open until 5pm. Staff great applause to Taylor our server. This is not the Fairmont but we find it ideal for our purposes. I would stay there again most definitely.
