Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge

Highly recommend this for an overnight stop! Staff were so friendly and helpful everywhere from check in to the restaurant. Blair and Fenny helped make reservations for a fun adventure for us. Definitely recommend the restaurant! We ate breakfast and dinner here and everything was delicious! The menu is thoughtful and prepared well. We all really enjoyed the yummy food!

Absolutely loved our stay at Sunwapta. Staff could not do enough for us. We stayed for few nights to be able to go North to Jasper and South to Colombia Icefields. Was so peaceful. Great location, walked up to Falls every evening. We requested microwave for convenience. Gift shop was a bonus and well stocked. Enjoyed sitting in the red chairs looking at mountains and using the offices internet. 😄

We stopped for a meal and we also visited the falls down the street. It may not be a fair review because the wait staff told us that we ordered the two best things from the menu. A three cheese ravioli plate and a baked Brie. Our service was exceptional, the location was attractive and the food was nearly the best we had on a long two week trip in the wilderness. Cannot comment on the resort rooms … but the other reviewer is far off the track for the staff and the food.
