Comfort Inn & Suites Calgary South

Will not book here again, due to management. I had booked this to stay with my mother. I reside within the city and she is from out of province, but I wanted her to experience all of what Calgary has to offer. One of the employees was excellent. There was an error in the booking dates. The one employee, Ahmed was amazing and incredibly reasonable. He attempted to transition us to a room two doors down so that we only had to move our belongings down the hallway. The manager on the other hand was terrible, rude and not accomodating whatsoever. So much so, that he made us exit the hotel for 5 hours while they cleaned a room, then forced us to re-book into another room with AN ADDITIONAL SECURITY deposit. I then had to pick up my mother in my work vehicle, piling in all our belongings. Really disappointed. Hotel was clean otherwise, breakfast was great. Terrible management is my complaint - Gautam was the manager on duty whom made the experience awful.

The location is good if you want to be near Chinook Centre, otherwise the property itself was average. The breakfast was a nice bonus to start your day. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable but smaller than on the hotel ad. Overall a good place to stay for one or two nights.

Absolutely brutal. We booked this hotel 2 weeks ago. I had got a call a week ago from them but they left no message so I didn't call them back. But my card was not working so they CANCELED my booking the day we were traveling there. As soon as I got an email saying it was canceled, I called them and asked what was going on and to secure our rooms they said they had no more rooms left. Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not trust them with your bookings or your money! Also, we booked the hotel for $120 a night, then looking today they sky rocketed their prices to $230..
