Holiday Inn Express Airport-Calgary

Very close to Calgary Airport, did not hear any airplane noise thru out the night

A decent place to stay if you want to be near the airport or are just passing through. There are a couple of restaurants adjacent to the hotel but there are no other amenities within walking distance. The room was large, clean and comfortable which is what I wanted and needed for just one night. I left early and can't make any comment about the breakfast available. I knew I was back in Alberta when I arrived to find two of the four EV chargers blocked by non-EV vehicles. Also, they're level 2 chargers, which is fine for overnight charging but they require payment to yet another private company, something EV owners will understand as we all have several payment apps on our phones. In the end I just went and found a nearby level 3 charger in the morning.

Stayed for one night before flight home hotel is getting tired needs some updates. Main problem was the breakfast. Says on all signs start at 6.30am every day but didn’t start until 7am which is not acceptable for an airport hotel. Only one girl dealing with breakfast room were as all the other IHG hotels had two. Most breakfast items were not being refilled quickly enough. Most items had run out as soon as one was filled the food went in seconds as nothing else available. Refill was very slow wasn’t even any coffee. Ended up having to go back to the room to finish packing up then try again as we left still a lot empty unacceptable!! I would suggest you avoid this hotel and use the one at Airdrie not that much further away and a much better hotel
