Ramada Downtown Calgary

Old hotel, great location. Some issues with lack of pool towels, broken TV remote control. Overall, a good experience.

The rooms are very small, a little shower that's even very hard to get into, a toilet that's full of water all the time and almost poured in the room, a bad-smelling shower. A basic breakfast minus one older employee who answers everything - bad service . An elevator that stops on every floor and is not tailored to the number of hotel visitors. The air conditioners in the four rooms we rented didn't work and we were on hot summer days. There is no refrigerator in the room.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room was a good size but decor is very dated and dark. It could do with a refresh and revamp.
