Sandman Grande Prairie

One night stay for business. The hotel is decent. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable. The pillows were not great. The Denny's attached to the hotel was great for breakfast.

Room was very clean. Pool was really clean. Housekeeping staff very friendly and pleasant. Front desk outstanding. Late check-in and late check-out without any hassles. Very friendly and welcoming. Room very quiet except for the train late at night. But that was ok… small inconvenience the first night when the train horn woke me. Easy walk to shopping street and small interesting shops and restaurants. And to the beautiful Art Gallery of Grande Prairie.

Very nice room but....in the middle of the night the AC conked out and we could smell wires burning! Called and got a new room immediately. The manager was great but only offered us some Dennys coupons. It would have been nice to have our room comped or at least gotten a free stay another time.
