We stayed one night with our grandson and found the hotel to be very clean and all the staff to be very friendly, welcoming, and professional. This is noteworthy, in our view. Our grandson loved the pool, which to our luck is open until 11:00pm. The breakfast choices consist of regular and strawberry waffles, omelettes, ham, potatoes, cereal, and yogurts. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here one night en route to Calgary. We booked kind of last minute (a week in advance), and there might have been a ball tournament or something in town, because we were told at check-in the hotel was full. We were in room 229, and it was fine for just one night. It was extremely small, 10x12 at most, and for any more time it would have been just too cramped for two people to be comfortable. The furniture took every inch of space other than a narrow margin on either side of the bed. We've honestly had a bigger room at a Microtel. That said, the bed and pillows were *extremely* comfortable, the bath towels were very plush, and the a/c worked really well. The shower design was poor; with just a glass panel on one side, water splashed everywhere and we had to make sure to mop it up so we didn't slip on the tile floor. Breakfast was perfectly adequate - scrambled egg patties, hashbrown patties, bacon, make your own waffles, and all the usual continental items. We went down at 9:30, which was apparently prime time, because we had to wait on all the hot items, as well as on a refill of waffle batter. That was fine, though, as the lady managing the breakfast was doing her best, but she obviously could have used some help. The hotel seemed quite clean and every staff member we encountered was helpful and polite. Brett who checked us out was especially pleasant. Overall, we'd stay here again if we could get a larger room.

Great hotel. I've stayed here several times when in the city to visit family. Will definitely return.
