Heron's Landing Hotel

We enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom suite at the Heron's Landing. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The spacious suite was clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and excellent WiFi. There is plenty of free parking, and access is easy, there are great views over the sound, and lovely coastal walking. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of cereal, and other provisions, including cooked options. We would happily stay at this hotel again, and can only assume the very negative reviewers have mistaken these premises for somewhere else.

What a disgrace! This place was filthy from the ground to the roof. If they have a vacuum. It is only for sucking in more unwary travellers. The lobby was a disgrace. The hallways were a disgrace. The room? Need I go on? The balcony chairs were broken. The room carpet looked liked it hadn’t been cleaned since the last coming. The furnishings were left overs from the Mao revolution and that odour, something I cant quite put my finger on. If I could, I wouldn’t. It may be the “best value” in a grossly over inflated hotel market but don’t be fooled. It is cheaper for a reason. It is rubbish. Spend more and enjoy your night.

Hotel is run down . Despite good location and spacious rooms, nobody really taking care of it and the guests: old bedding, shaky furniture, not clean , poor management. We were group of friends and half of us had to look for different hotel later at night , because they gave away their room for 3 people and suggested they all sleep on 1 bed … Wouldn’t risk to stay there again
