Comfort Inn Chilliwack

The air conditioning unit was located high on the wall meaning that in order to set the temperature to our liking, we had to climb onto the bed. No lighting available meant it was so hard to read. The ceiling above the unit was filthy with pieces breaking loose. Lastly, not sure who puts the pancake mix together but they need to revamp the recipe so it doesn't look like a loonie. They are literally less than a 1/4 inch thick.

I stayed here for one night on the way to Sechelt & was very happy with my choice. Everything was as it should be and the breakfast was more than I expected with hot eggs & sausages in addition to the normal cold fare.

A disappointing 3. We did not have high expectations but the hotel seemed tired. For a well established chain it certainly could have used some updating. Continental breakfast was okay with two cooked items but my wife has celiac disease and there was no way to determine whet he cooked items were gluten free and safe. Check in was okay but overall not quite as nice as we would expect from a well established chain. Perhaps a 2.5 would have been a better rating
