Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Cranbrook

Outside appearance is dated but the room are clean and dated. The hotel is hosting homeless people no problem with them. Check in was good but in the morning only one staff and he went to help someone and we had to wait 15-20 minutes.

This place is still advertised as a Travelodge but is actually rented out to social services for homeless people and drug addicted. That is fine but it shouldn’t be sold as a regular hotel for travellers that are not aware of the situation. I feel bad for unexpected guests driving in at night for a quiet rest to find their room stinking and surrounded by people shooting up in the yard.

A large portion of the rooms occupied by homeless people paid for by the government. They created disturbances that required the police to be called during our stay. We were not the ones who called the police. The outside areas were filthy. I am a Platinum Wyndham Rewards member. This was the worst Wyndham property I have ever stayed at. The owners should remove themselves, or be removed from the Wyndham system.
