Kootenay Country Inn

Great beds! We were tired from the drive and stopping here was an awesome choice especially for the price! Bathroom was very stocked and clean, the air conditioner was quiet and refreshing and didn’t go on/off like many do…. But the beds were the best….. we slept really good. We will mark this as a place to stay again

I booked two rooms here online with booking.com for my family on This past weekend as we were passing through and it was the only place with two rooms left. I can tell why they had rooms! This motel is disgusting. We checked in and ran across the street to grab food. When we came back and actually went into the room and looked around, there was feces still in the toilet, which was a clear indication the room had not even been cleaned. There were people smoking a bong on the balcony between the two rooms we booked (which were supposed to be next door to eachother) as we were travelling with our teens. The rooms in total cost 354.00 and they were not worth 50 bucks a piece! Just terrible, dirty, run down and should be shut down by the any health inspector who would walk in. Absolutely gross!

We loved the customer service so much! The people were so lovely. Sadly, the room was in much disrepair. The bed almost flipped over when we sat on the end, the floors were lifting and uneven, the kitchen was sketchy, and there was blood from who knows where on the bedsheets. If the room was as awesome as the customer service, this would be a different story.
