Beach Grove Motel

This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever stayed at in my life. As soon as you walk in, there’s an overwhelming stench of urine.. it is absolutely nauseating. This place is absolutely rundown and filthy. There are mice/rap traps everywhere, droppings in the cupboards. Bathroom is literally falling apart. Urine stains all over the mattresses. Pillows have stains. Place is beyond run down and literally needs to be burned to the ground. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy stay here. If I could rate it a zero star I would. 🤮

The hotel room was in need of a good clean. Examples include: Dirty, dusty old A/C in the window, a moldy, old coffee filter & grounds were left in coffee maker, clothing left under bed by previous guest, top of fridge was dirty, two of the pillows provided were old and stained. We had no issue with the age of the motel itself - our complaints were related to lack of cleanliness and overall run down conditions which are all things that the owners could address to improve the guests’ experience.

Awful!!! The shelf 2” above the sink was made from press board, so it was swollen beyond recognition. The sheets were threadbare, towels were coming apart and the shower/tub lever was barely held together, the tub faucet was sort of aimed at the side of the tub… The entrance deck to the check-in building appears to be ready to break at anytime, with uneven stairs and shaky railings. You need a hard body check to open or shut the door completely. Plenty of rat traps around the building suggest they are like;y needed, although being close to the water that’s to be expected. The “kitchenette” consisted of a toaster and microwave with a bathroom sink also being the kitchen sink? Yeah, it was only a hundred bucks…but
