Grandview Motel

We stayed at the Grandview Motel while we were evacuated from Clinton BC We were able to stay there with all our pets without a reservation for two weeks The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the swimming pool. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us during a very stressful time It is very centrally located and close to shopping We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again Thanks Grandview Motel!!!

A pleasant surprise during our trip: after a day of driving we arrived at the Motel and the room was very comfortable, equipped with many amenities (microwave oven, minibar, bathroom with tub/shower, sofa and coffee table, TV). Excellent value for money. About a 4-minute drive from the center (Victoria Street). The reception closes at 8:00 PM (if you arrive later you must notify them in advance).

Great location. Access on to Columbia a bit restricted. The room was divided into the outer room with beds, sink, fridge & microwave. The bathroom contains just the toilet and bathtub/shower. The outer room was good - bed clean & comfortable with good linen; the heat/AC unit a bit challenging to work, but not rocket science; there was a phone, but it didn't work. The little bathroom was not good - small; and the room smelled of urine and dirty shower curtain. It was hard to be in there for a quick shower. Would I stay again? Probably not.
