HOSPITALITY INNKAMLOOPS

i can't write how bad this hotel is. black mold, urine stains, cigarette butts everywhere on property. this hotel is in disrepair and the lady behind the counter will keep your money and will refuse to refund you even if you don't stay the night. she claims i have to go through booking.com however i never paid them. i paid directly to the hotel.

I booked by phone through what I now think is a scam website. I called the number listed when I looked a motel up on my phone. They said it was booked and perhaps I’d like to stay at a “sister property’. I said that sounded okay, and they booked me at this hotel. Even before I got to the front desk I have a feeling of foreboding. Much of the motel seems boarded up and there is trash all over the place, such as old washers and dryers. When I entered the office it was dirty. I put my wallet down on the counter and it left grit on it when I picked it up. But I’d prepaid so I thought I would see what it was like. I entered the room and it smelled bad; smoke and something else. The carpet was grimy and stained. The bathroom tub was grey and stained. There were drops of blood on the floor and even the mirror was smeared. At one point I was thinking that I couldn’t figure out how to get from the bed to the bathroom at night, without wearing my shoes. I really didn’t want to touch the carpet. Anyway, I went for dinner and phoned around and found another place. When I went back the office wasn’t even open so I couldn’t complain. I just dropped off the key and decided to eat the cost. The thing is, there are lots of small outdated motels out there, but the owners have pride and even if they don’t have money to renovate, they keep their motel clean, and tidy. That’s all a motel has to do. Obviously the owners of the Hospitality Inn in Kamloops don’t care. @Pacific Hospitality Hotel Group, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I was in a room once recently vacated by a drug addict. Their room was nicer than the one in the Hospitality Inn in Kamloops.

DISGUSTING….. do not book this hotel. Selected 1 star because zero was not an option. The pictures this hotel provides is false advertising… they must have taken it from another hotel. How is this place is still open is beyond me. Surprising BC health officials have not closed this place down!!! This has been the worst room I have ever seen. Walls falling apart, the tub was full of mold and stained black, the carpet which I think it was grey… hard to tell with all the stains on it, crooked floors, and the list goes on and on. Sleeping there was not an option, had to book another room at another hotel. Save yourself the trouble and think about your health… I repeat do not book here.
