Hotel Five540Forty

A good option in Kamloops which was a stopover point on the way back to Vancouver from a Rockies trip. The room was clean and comfortable though the highlight was the on site restaurant Cordo. The food was excellent.

Friendly Hotel - great staff and comfortable rooms

It was included on the fantastic Rocky Mountaineer train tour resulting in a very fast check in. Adequate towels and 120v outlets. Shower controls were different and a little difficult for me to figure out but it was a very good shower. Lighting was good except at the desk. Small refrigerator, no freeze compartment. I did not see a microwave but I did not need one so I did not look very hard. Coffee in the room and a tea pot. There was a safe. The block behind the hotel has shopping. I walked a couple of blocks, the area appeared safe.
