Coast Osoyoos Beach

I complain about dirty sheets on both fold out couches on and in. Hair in cutlery drawer. Puddle of a/c grime. Then at check out I tied all garbage put in corner. Did dishes. Wiped all counters. Put all used sheets/towels in bathtub. They kept my $100 damage deposit and said I broke kitchen table leg!! The table was on all 4 legs when we left. Like I am going to go do all that cleaning then go rip off a table leg!! Tried to also include a tv cupboard door but apparently maintenance guy said it was a hinge issue. We are ages group 60-80 and dont wreck hotels. I am disputing the charge! Seriously a table leg???? Changed my credit card as well as I dont trust them.

We requested a beach view and a king bed. On checking in we were told we could not have either because we had booked a dog friendly room. Apparently all the king beds are in units facing the beach and no one with a dog can look out the window and see the beach. Instead we had a room with 2 queens one of which was in a bedroom with no air conditioning. It’s interesting the beach front rooms are the same price as this one facing the parking lot. They tell you and advertise that they love dogs. If you have a dog don’t book here.

We were travelling as 3 couples for a birthday week celebration. All of us had beachfront rooms which makes all the difference as it really felt like a special getaway. The lake view is beautiful and you are literally steps across the private beachfront to the water. There are complimentary beach loungers, paddle boards and other toys to use. Our room 219 was small with 2 double beds and still had carpet, but our friends’ rooms were larger with kitchenettes and wood floor, although we all booked the same class of room at the same price. Although quite loud, we appreciated the air-conditioning unit and having a fridge in the room. The beds are comfortable, with a selection of pillows. The bathroom is nicely appointed. There is daily room service if you would like it, and an unexpected surprise was the included continental breakfast. Easy free parking and walkable location. We will definitely stay here again.
