Shiraz Villa

We booked this from Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The view from all the rooms is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is no restaurant but the helpful staff had recommendations and allowed us a slightly delayed checkout after brunch. The air conditioning could have been better but overall I would recommend.

Lovely location just out of town, overlooking the lake. Beautiful rooms with proper baths, nicely decorated, and very comfortable beds. Just shows how nice a small hotel can be if owned and well run by a caring family. Heartily recommended but do be aware you have to pop into town (5 mins) for food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the Shiraz Villas. The rooms are even better than they appear on the website as the bedding has been updated and the arborvitae has grown up to provide privacy on each patio. The result is a lovely, relaxing atmosphere where you can overlook the vineyards while enjoying a glass of local wine. The bed is comfortable and the weird bathroom setup is worth it to enjoy a soak with a view. We bought yogurt and muffins to prolong the mornings and that worked great. I would definitely stay here again.
