This has to be the worst place ever ,cobwebs all over the yurt dirt and I mean layered dirt all along the floor walls ,behind microwave was gross ,not to mention fire alarm ohh what fire alarm ..and the out dated fire extinguisher. Under chair crumbs. Looks like blood stains on wall and the screen which iam not sure what it's for to block out sun,it looked like a 2 year old finger food painted it..and what's up the the 2 screws under tv table, a accident that's ready to happen on a kid.It seemed they never vacuum! Iam so disappointed in this place and for the amount of money I paid !! I hope they use it to hire a house keeper that knows what the heck there doing ..!!!

We have been staying in the yurts in this campground-turned-RV park for 15 years. I loved being in a campground and my husband loved the luxurious yurt. Now the resort has turned into a year-long RV park for senior citizens so the fun loving camping atmosphere is gone. When we arrived this year on a hot summer day (38 degrees c), no one from the resort opened the vent or put a fan in the yurt so it was sweltering and I had to text staff to provide us with a fan. Since there is no air conditioning, staff should be opening those yurts up when expecting patrons. We may not return as it is no longer a resort. The private beach has no amenities. The owners could have put more yurts on the beach rather than an unnecessary stage as it feels like a ghost town.

We stayed in Scotty's Beach House, four adults and two kids. We had three more families in yurts in the main campground. There is power and a working fridge with freezer, and a few fans that we didn't need. We had no problems with the bathroom or anything else for that matter. Any negative reviews you might read are from people expecting some kind of resort hotel. People, these are cabins! This is a cabin with a full double garage door on the front that opens up to the patio and a full lake view that is unbeatable. It's a private beach for resort patrons only and campfires were allowed on the beach in the giant saucers provided. We foraged for driftwood and had enough for both nights we were there but you'd be best advised to bring a load for the duration of your stay. Truly a diamond in the rough, the location is tough to beat. We had a great time, and we'll be back!
