Days Inn - Penticton

I have stayed at Day’s Inn, Penticton by Wyndham a number of times each year over the past few years and I have found the state of repair, quality of breakfast provided and, in particular and more importantly, the cleanliness of the hotel and certainly the rooms have dramatically slid over the past few years. I have brought this to the attention of the manager on a few occasions and he promises to take it up with the cleaning staff but nothing changes. I’ve written Wyndham Hotels because it’s gotten to the point where it no longer can be ignored. Unfortunately, they too have distanced themselves from the problem stating this is a franchise-owned property and it must be taken up with local ownership. Wrong – I’ve done my part to bring things to ownership’s attention on a few occasions by way of the manager, Bruce Wu and I’ve contacted their flagship brand, Wyndham’s customer service department and forwarded my concerns and pictures to support my claim to them! I’ve done my part. So, reluctantly, I’ve decided to move away from Day’s Inn, Penticton NOR will I book any Wyndham properties in the future. Wyndham doesn’t take their affiliation and branding seriously. I’m not staying in filth (pictures available on request) and I have moved on to another hotel

Convenient location for activities on Okanagan Lake

Hot water wasn’t working so we couldn’t use the jacuzzi. Complained about noise: people above us were screaming until 3:30 AM and no one did anything or followed up.
