ROCHESTER RESORT

We had a very pleasant stay at Okanagan Lakefront Resort during our road trip through British Columbia. The resort is in a beautiful location right by Okanagan Lake and was a perfect place to relax after a long day of driving. Our room was clean, comfortable and everything worked exactly as expected. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out quick and easy. Although the resort is fairly simple, it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we felt well looked after. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and well-located place to stay by the lake, we would happily recommend Okanagan Lakefront Resort. We’d definitely stay here again.

The location of the Okanagan Lakefront Resort is pretty much the only good thing about this review. Yes, it is 20 steps from the beach, but hugely overprized for the value. Plus check in is at 4 pm, not 3 pm, and check out at 10 am., not 11 am, like ANY other hotel we ever stayed in. The room is renovated, but small, despite advertised as King room. And please, bring your own coffee, the one provided is disgusting!!!

The stay was….fine. The value was low for such a high price, I imagine the try to capitalize on the location. The bad: Inadequate lighting; and no way to let natural light in without losing privacy, there should at least be sheers on m the window. No lock on bathroom door No curtain or covering on the bathroom window; when sun was on that side it was insanely bright, could barky keep my eyes open white getting ready. They want guests to wash the cups before checking out. I’m not staff. Only mirror is in bathroom. No light in kitchenette, couldn’t see well at all. The good: Super CLEAN Nice decor Soap/shampoo/ conditioner in bathroom was good quality AC is easy to adjust Coffee/tea is good Real mugs and glasses, not disposable Kettle and French press Proximity to beach and restaurants Not sure I would book here again. The room was just too dark, not a lot of privacy. (Again, poor lighting and need more versatile window treatment, and out a lock on the bathroom door ) Also, while they do include one parking spot per unit, the spaces are insanely tight and it was almost impossible to get in and out of the vehicle once it was parked.
