Hospitality Inn Port Alberni

Booked online. When we got to the hotel it was not what was pictured on their site. Overgrown landscape, dirty parking lot, lobby was not as pictured. Their restaurant has been closed for about two years apparently. Some homeless going through the garbage cans.Cancelled right on the spot. They wanted one night cancellation fee and I refused to pay and left.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It does not look even close to the pictures advertised, do not get fooled! Noisy, doors slamming and neighbors partying all night long. Dirty, smells like a crack shack Staff are indifferent Pool and hot tub are gross Run down and not maintained We left early and forfeited our money just so we did not have stay one more second

I do not understand how anyone could give a good rating to this hotel. The staff were fine, check in was easy, but that’s where anything positive stopped. The room was dark and dingy. The bathroom was just awful - peeling wallpaper, duct tape to cover spots, filthy overhead fan. There is no sound proofing between rooms - we could hear the people next door talking and watching tv all night. My kids liked the hot tub and heated pool - which says is indoors, but it’s not actually indoors, it’s covered, kind of in an open greenhouse, but the walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling. Unfortunately we have another night left to stay here, but I would never book here again.
