Desolation Resort

Perfect if you desire tranquility in the midst of nature’s splendid woods and sea. Our rustic and spacious unit was well accessorised, comfortable, and close to an excellent bakery in Lund.

The Resort is at the end of the world. A further journey north is practically only possible on the mainland by off-road vehicle, boat or plane. As a big city dweller, you can hardly get further away from your usual surroundings. This is supported by the complete absence of radio, TV and mobile phone reception. WiFi is only available in the vicinity of the reception. You are compensated with a beautiful, almost untouched nature. The rustic wooden chalets are built directly on the shore into the forest, with beautiful views of the Okeover Arm. The silence, which is unusual for us, was rarely interrupted by a boat or an arrival or departure. Absolutely recommended for Nature Guides who want to leave their everyday life far behind for a while. in this mode we also forgot some things on departure and the hosts Jade and Marco were very helpful to send us these. Beautiful location, quiet and poetic. Just a pity that the Owner of the Resort was fishing on the pier with family and friends during our stay and left little room for other people and also talked very loudly, which detracted from the experience.
