Stayed from July 23-27. Booked 2 bedroom suite for 2 couples. Overall terrible experience: 1. Pool was the dirtiest pool we have ever seen in any hotel. It was shut down for our last 2 days. 2. No toilet paper in either bathroom. (And we arrived at 8:00 pm with no service till morning) The Ladies were less than thrilled. 3. The biggest issue was the unit only had A/C on the bottom floor. The bedrooms located upstairs were unbearable at a sweltering 28 degrees all day and night. We had to sleep on the couch and chair downstairs. 4. Overall just Expensive for the condition of the property. We won't be back!

We’ve stayed at this resort five times and have always loved it, which made this visit especially disappointing. Before arrival, we confirmed that we would be in the 800 building with an elevator and on a lower floor because we were traveling with seniors who have difficulty with stairs. Instead, we were placed in the resort’s oldest building, requiring 20 stairs just to reach the unit, eight more to reach the main floor, and another flight to the bedrooms. The unit also appeared not to have been properly cleaned. The floors and stairs had not been vacuumed, hardened spilled ice cream was left on the kitchen floor, there was grime around a bathroom doorway, and dirty tissues remained in a basket by the toilet. There were no trash cans, so my wife ended up sweeping and scrubbing the unit herself. The air conditioning was set as low as 63 degrees and was so loud that it kept much of our party awake. An alarm left set by a previous guest also went off early in the morning. The building itself felt dated and poorly equipped, including missing basic kitchen items. The front desk said no other unit was available, despite our advance accessibility discussion. Ultimately, we received only a 5% discount on one night. We know this resort can do much better, but reservations, housekeeping, and the condition of this particular unit all failed badly during this stay. We hope management treats this as an opportunity to retrain staff and give this building the serious attention it needs.

Great Value and Location, but Showing Its Age ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I’ve stayed at Bighorn Meadows several times, and I always enjoy my trips here. The location is excellent—close to everything in Radium while still being quiet and relaxing. For the area, it offers very good value and remains one of the better places to stay in Radium. That said, the property is definitely starting to show its age. Some of the buildings and units are looking a little run down, and there are quite a few repairs and updates that would make a big difference to the overall experience. Despite that, the comfortable accommodations, great location, and reasonable prices keep me coming back. If the property continues to invest in maintenance and upgrades, it would easily be one of the top places to stay in Radium.
