Sandman Signature Nelsen Lodge

Positives first. The actual room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bed and pillows were good. Bathroom spacious and again well equipped. The washing machine and tumble drier were useful. Our room was billed as “ with a Mountain View”. Unfortunately the Mountain View was obstructed by the building site directly opposite. The balcony was unusable as men working on cherry pickers were directly opposite the room. Building works started about 6am and while we were there, at a weekend the works were ongoing. It is a very large complex with three buildings so does get busy and communal areas are busy and noisy.

We had a great stay here at the Sutton in Revelstoke. The property is beautiful and the pool and hot tubs are nice. The rooms are nice and comfortable, we had more than enough room for our family of 4. Definitely would come back again when in Revelstoke.

Unfortunately, we were only at the Sutton Place Revelstoke for one night while passing through. The location is outside of Revelstoke, right by the gondola. It is a large hotel in several buildings and is equipped with every modern comfort. Since a wedding party was celebrating there, we were given an upgrade to a quiet section. The property offers many little touches that underscore the hospitality and make the stay especially pleasant.
