Dolphin Motel

I just stayed at the Dolphin Motel for 4 days and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised!! Yes its very dated and our room was quiet dark but the bed linen was replaced every day and we were given an endless supply of fresh towels which is very handy when you swimming on the beach all the time!! Another plus to this place is its location!!! It's right beside the amazing Chesterfield beach and only a few minutes from a great coffee shop. There is also another an amazing coffee shop called the Moss and Milk only a few minutes drive. If you like coffee like me well then you must go..lol... Outside the coffee shop there are 2 bus stops. One is the free shuttle to Chesterfield beach and Tofino which runs all summer and the other is the Translink bus. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity and plenty of car parking space at the Dolphin!! I was a little reluctant with the bad reviews and yes found some cobwebs behind the beds which I swept out but found no bugs which was a relief!!! All in all I would recommend this place. There are other upmarket places in the area which cost 500 dollars a night which in my opinion is is a waste when you can stay here. Enjoy!!!

Had an incredible time at the dolphin motel, absolutely perfect location for a beginner surfer right beside tacofino, the best burritos and tacos on the island! Also right next to the beach within 300 m Great stuff, great experience!
