Renaissance Harbourside

Our stay at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront was disappointing due to both the condition of our room and the way the situation was handled by staff. We stayed in Room 1413, where the air conditioning produced a very loud rumbling noise every time it was turned on. The noise was disruptive enough to make it difficult to sleep, but turning the AC off wasn't a realistic option because the room became uncomfortably warm. When we reported the issue to the front desk, we were initially told that two fans would be brought to our room. Instead, only one small desktop fan was delivered for two guests. We also asked about moving to another room and were told the hotel was fully booked. However, when I checked the hotel's website shortly afterward, there were still rooms available to book, which made the explanation hard to understand. Maintenance issues can happen at any hotel, but what stood out was the lack of urgency and communication in resolving the problem. We expected a better experience and a higher level of customer service, especially after booking directly through the hotel's website. The hotel's location is excellent, but based on our experience with both the room and the way our concerns were handled, we would not stay here again or recommend it to others. Edit - was asked to email the hotel by the comment below on July 28th. I have yet to receive a response back from the hotel after that

Great location and helpful staff. Room had great view and was comfortable. Easy check-in and checkout with convenient luggage service and bell staff.

Nice clean hotel. Bed very comfortable. Does need some updating. Service was good . Great location
