SANDMAN SIGNATURE

A little expensive for what it is, but the location was very convenient and tons of free parking.

The Sandman Signature made an easy stay for one night in between our cruise and flight home. The resort itself shows some aging but the outstanding staff made us feel welcomed, especially Kay. The Room: this would be my only complaint of this stay, when I walked in the room it had a heavy smell that I could not tell what it was. As the night went by the best description would be like old smelly shoes. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the views were gorgeous! The gym and indoor pool were small but not overfilled by guests. The outdoor pool was larger and had more people. We chose the hotel due to the free shuttle, though it’s a first come first serve so make sure you give yourself extra time to get to the airport, though that was super easy and we had extra time to spare! The chop house attached to the hotel was a little pricier of a restaurant but well worth every dime. The food and manager on staff both were amazing!

A one night layover before a long flight to New Zealand. Picked for the complimentary shuttle and pool for the kids. A great waterslide that was enjoyed on a rainy day! Convenient to the airport with the shuttle. Rooms are a bit dated and could use a refresh with some carpet pulling and old air con units. Regardless of these cosmetic issues the hotel reception were helpful, the hotel was clean and we had a great rest before carrying on our long trek home. Would stay again!
