Located in a quiet area, 15 minutes walk from the center. Attentive and friendly staff. Quiet room. Computer in the room. Hearty breakfast.

It was the best place ever, so amazing house with a history. The house has so many details to look at. Great location, very easy and close to the center of Viktoria. The host is amazing, helpfull, sweet, nice and he makes the best breakfast ever.

Staying here was like stepping back in time to the Victorian era. This heritage inn is furnished with antiques and features beautiful stained glass windows. The location is excellent; it is walking distance to the downtown Victoria attractions. The proprietor, Mr. Chen was most welcoming. The large breakfasts that varied from day to day were outstanding and included such items as salmon, prawns, avocado on toast and even steamed dim sum buns. Special dietary requirements were accommodated. We appreciated having access to unlimited beverages. As one might expect, staying in a 120 year old mansion does have its drawbacks. Noise from other rooms was one of the them – you could hear plumbing and floorboards creaking above - but it was only a minor drawback. The room felt clean, however, there were areas of the inn such as the veranda and exercise area that needed a good ‘deep clean’ as they say in the hotel business. Overall, we had a most enjoyable experience staying here.
