Add this hotel to my list of favorites! Really lovely experience staying here for 4 days on vacation in centrally located Victoria BC. The front desk took time and gave great restaurant recommendations. The valet called a Taxi for us and gave us insider tips for must see gardens. The breakfast team was fast, courteous and attentive. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable - and laid out in a user friendly fashion. We had a one bedroom suite that gave us ample room to spread out. If I ever get back to Victoria, I won't stay anyplace but here!

This is a modern, upscale, pleasant property in an excellent location. It is very conducive to a tourist-oriented visit to Victoria, with walking distance proximity to the waterfront, shops and restaurants, and the general "vibe" of downtown Victoria. For those arriving in Victoria by ferry from Seattle or Port Angeles, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from where the ferries dock. The hotel is pricey, but that's just the way it goes in Victoria, especially for summer weekends. It is for this reason that I give it 4 stars and not 5 as the star scale, though my experience certainly was "excellent" if price is removed from the evaluation. The room checked all the boxes: spacious, clean, with comfortable bedding and linens. There was an in-room microwave and refrigerator. The technology (Wi-Fi, TV) worked well. There were plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports. An extra closet built into the wall between the bed and the bathroom was a nice touch that perhaps more hotels could offer. As someone who likes to adhere to a fitness regimen, I appreciate the spacious gym with good equipment that is clean and well-maintained. Water and towels are provided at the gym. Freshly-baked cookies offered at check-in are a nice touch. It'd be nice to be offered another cookie each day of a multi-day stay. The only notable downsides were: (1) The wait for a table for breakfast was 15 minutes. So we simply went elsewhere (I'd recommend Cora, just a 2-minute walk, which is pretty much like a Denny's or IHOP). (2) Elevator wait times can be long during peak times. Overall, I'd recommend the property and it would definitely be in my consideration set were I to return to Victoria.

Truly excellent stay here! All of the staff, from valet to front desk to breakfast were terrific. Our suite was large and in great condition. Great location - easy to walk to tons of things to do. I would absolutely stay here again.
