⭐️ 1/5 — I would NOT trust booking this place. We booked three weeks in advance through Zeevou using a booking link that appeared directly on this property’s Google Maps listing. The day before our trip, I called to confirm and was told they couldn’t find our reservation. I clearly explained that I booked through the link on THEIR Google Maps page and that it was through Zeevou. They said they would investigate and contact me, but nobody ever did. Interestingly, shortly afterward, the Zeevou option was quickly removed from their Google listing. When we arrived in Whistler, they told us the reservation was a “scam” and accepted absolutely no responsibility. But my question is: how can you simply call it a scam when the booking option was accessible directly through YOUR own Google Maps listing? As a customer, how am I supposed to know that a booking link shown under your property on Google is supposedly a scam? We even spoke with the manager and were simply told there was nothing they could do. If an unauthorized or fraudulent booking link can appear through your own Google listing, that is a serious security and management issue. The guest should not be the one paying the price for it. We planned this trip for over a month, traveled a long distance, and lost almost our entire first day dealing with this. If we had known three weeks earlier, we could have booked another hotel at a much better price. The woman who helped us was kind and apologized, and I appreciate her. But overall, the lack of responsibility was extremely disappointing. After this experience, I would consider booking this property a risk.

We stayed within the lodge in unit 304, a one bedroom booked thru Airbnb. During our stay we interacted with the front desk, maintenance and housekeeping because toilet sewage water started leaking thru the bathroom’s suspended tile ceiling from the unit above us. It was a multi-day problem, the front desk tried to help by sending maintenance and housekeeping but the leaking continued. The owner of the unit we were in offered nothing but praise for our “patience”. The lodge had a plumber fix the water leak on our 3rd day but the odors remained. We had to request the soiled shower curtain be replaced to try and eliminate the odors. The bathroom ceiling tiles were stained and a soiled wet towel was still in the ceiling to absorb water when we checked out. There was a serious lack of communication between the lodge front desk staff, management and unit owner. The lodge did offer us a temporary room for 1 night but it was very outdated so we chose to stay in the unit with all the windows open and the bathroom door closed. When calling the front desk someone answered about 50% of the time so it was easier to go downstairs and speak with someone directly. Front desk staff were very nice during all interactions. The lodge in general is loud, kids yelling in the pool area and people partying in their rooms all night. The pool area is large but the hot tubs are very small, the landscaping around the pool is well maintained. The common areas are in need of refurbishment, especially the tiny gym which you have to walk thru to get towels for the pool. If you store your luggage in the housekeeping room near the pool before check-in or after, the only security is the door code. After our first 12 hours in unit 304 at the lodge, we would have left and never returned if we had been able to find available, affordable, last minute accommodations over a holiday weekend.

may is a great month for fewer crowds and special pricing at a lot of the restaurants( which regularly can be pretty pricey), skiing not great but lots of other things to do.
