Clock Tower Resort

The woman at the reception desk was super rude and condescending! She was short with us upon check-in and lectured us like we were toddlers. She rolled her eyes whenever we asked questions and made us feel unappreciated as clients. I would not recommend this hotel, as she acted like we were doing HER a favor for staying there. Her entitled attitude ruined our stay at the Clock Tower.

This was my fiancé and I’s first time in Whistler. We were gifted a week stay at the Clock Tower Hotel. I’m unsure of how a timeshare works and all, but this hotel was simply 5 stars. Of course, the only down side being there is no elevator. As a former housekeeper, I know what is clean and what is not. The suite we booked into was simply IMMACULATE. I did not enjoy Whistler as a whole, but I definitely loved coming back to our room to relax and sleep. Since the hotel is in the middle of the village, the noise levels were above average. I love the sound of night-life though, so this did not bother me. If I ever come back to Whistler, I hope to stay here again.

The room (studio) was small. When I booked it was not made clear that the bed was a murphy bed - not the worst, but not what I was expecting. As I arrived late, check in took around 45 minutes waiting for someone to show up to hand over keys. The hotel is fairly noisy itself - starting at 8 AM, doors opening/slamming closed as staff comes in to the hallway (my room was right by they laundry and stairway), plus they are doing construction below for the next month that starts at 8 am too. Definitely not a place where you can relax and sleep late on a rainy morning. While they advertise a guest laundry room, it is only available to guest for a few hours in the evening, and only when the staff isn't using the 3 machines for laundering sheets/towels/etc.
