Delta Whistler Village

Room 1336 It was a nice room except for the following: The toilet is the height that would be found in a day care. It is the lowest to the floor that I have ever experienced in a hotel. Only one side of the bed had a night stand & light. Both sides need them. The 120v outlet is almost hidden low to the floor. The HVAC was very noisy but worked very well. These negatives would rate it a 3 at best if it wasn't for how nice the suite was overall. A grab rail opposite the bath faucet would be nice. Full size refrigerator with a separate freeze compartment, but no beer. LOL There is a safe. The shower was good. A full kitchen with utensils. Large living/kitchen area. We would have liked to stay another night.

Excellent location with good pool area and gym. Had a 2 bedroom suite and there was plenty of room with good storage. the room had a balcony and kitchen area. The room was clean but the kitchen could have been better equipped. If traveling with children you do need to watch the doors locking as the door stopper is not always effective. One of our bathrooms had poor water pressure, not a major issue as our other bathroom was fine. Reception staff were helpful but not always the quickest. The hotel is really convenient for the gondola, shops and restaurants.

This hotel was booked for us by The Rocky Mountaineer for the Whistler leg of our journey. The hotel staff put us in a room on the second floor right above the entrance to a nightclub on a Saturday night!! They knew they had done this. The noise from people yelling and screaming right below our window and the booming music kept getting louder as the night progressed. Needless to say we couldn’t sleep. Of all the places I’ve stayed in British Colombia, this was the absolute worst!
