Whistler Town Plaza Suites

We were in Bear Lodge suite 209 which unfortunately is right across from a nightclub. From 9:30pm till 3am every night you get overly excessive crowd noise - screaming - from patrons coming and going. No chance of any sleep even with earplugs. After 3 sleepmess nights we couldn't leave quick enough. Would never recommend to stay there.

I was greatly disappointed by the cleanliness of the unit we rented through bookings.com and managed by MVA. It is obvious the cleaners do minimal work. There is no care to wipe doors, clean baseboards, wipe any spills etc on walls. I rented unit 205 to celebrate my birthday with My daughter and her fiancé. To my horror when they returned back to the unit at 2 am and went to climb in to bed they discovered the comforter in the smaller bedroom had blood obviously from someone’s period and/or a significant cut. How could anyone making a bed with a “laundered” blanket leave this for a guest. With Covid I would have at least expected high touch areas such as the door handles and surfaces to be wiped. I would not want someone else to spend their hard earned money during these times on something that was so disappointing. I advised the front desk. Emailed the host the unit is rented from and no one followed up or offered any type of refund or partial refund. This was very disappointing and I would not recommend this to anyone. The location was amazing but that’s About it.

If you you come to Whistler to party this is your place. It is only steps away from Garfinkels Nightclub. You will hear loud noises every day until 3am or 4am with heavy base coming straight to your suite (if you face the village stroll). Bring a pair of good earplugs is you care about sleep.
