Stayed here while in town for a child's sporting event. Price was excellent. Hotel is clean and front desk staff were amazing. Allowed me to check in a few mins early and upgraded my room. The room was large and clean, shower pressure wasn't great but that was the only negative. Great location to the airport if you were flying out and offers an airport shuttle. 2 restaurants onsite (Chop and Denny's). Pool but we did not use. Will stay again for sure!

Stayed overnight before flying out of Winnipeg and used the Park N Stay feature available at the hotel. The car was still plugged in when we returned (we were worried someone might take out extension cord while we were away but it was still there upon our return 8 days later). Check in was quick, informative and friendly. Wifi was free and worked well. The room and bed were comfortable and everything was clean. Travel toiletries were provided in the room. It seems to be an older hotel but the room contents all looked brand new. The shower was hot and had nice pressure. We appreciated having usb chargers in the bedside lamps. Heat is baseboard electric which was awesome as it meant none of the loud noise often associated with wall heaters found in hotel rooms. The stay was very quiet despite there being lots of rooms rented on our floor. There was only regular coffee in the room, but a phone call to the front desk and decaf coffee was promptly delivered. Absolutely loved the efficiency of their airport shuttle. They run their own shuttle so you book the departure time (available every 15 minutes) and when you return you call guest services and they pick you up in the shuttle loading area at the airport. They left on time and the driver(s) were friendly on outbound and inbound trips. This was our first stay at the Sandman as we typically stay at other airport hotels. Going forward though we will stay with Sandman.
