Comfort Inn

Not as good as other comfort inns we have visited. Room a bit more dated. The air conditioning was very noisy. Breakfast was poor and staff not very friendly.

We arrived after a long day to discover our reservation was cancelled because our Visa blocked our use. The clerk, Tara, was very patient and helped us unravel the issue. Visa didn't know we were out of our country of origin. This Comfort Inn location is convenient, clean and everything appears new. The room was immaculate and comfortable. and quiet We had an excellent rest there. Extensive breakfast buffet, all the food was hot and fresh. Pricey, though.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the newly renovated Comfort Inn in Amherst, Nova Scotia following my first ever tour date in the nearby town of Oxford and what a joy it was. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are spacious, stylish and genuinely stunning. Everything feels fresh, modern and thoughtfully designed, while still being warm and welcoming. After a long show, it was exactly the kind of calm, comfortable space you hope to retreat to. The cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable. Every detail felt cared for and considered. My room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the view and sunrise made for a perfect peaceful start to the morning. The food on offer was fantastic as well. Fresh, plentiful and exactly what you need before hitting the road again. A very special thank you to Apollo at the front desk for the kindness and warmth, and to the outstanding Front Office Manager, Rakesh Shetty, for such thoughtful hospitality. It is rare to feel so genuinely welcomed and looked after. Their professionalism and friendliness made the stay even more memorable. If you are visiting Amherst or performing nearby at the Oxford Capitol Theatre, I cannot recommend Comfort Inn Amherst highly enough. A wonderful experience from start to finish. I look forward to staying again.
