L'Hotel St. James

We ate at the SJG Moncton on the patio. It was super good and the service was impeccable. We had the oysters and the tuna tartare for appetizers. Delicious! I highly recommend them to you. For the meal, the special summer menu, which is the lobster mac and cheese and the lobster roll. It was perfect. We had a very good time. I saw the inside of the restaurant while going to the restroom and it looks very good with the great decor.

Parking is paid- the hotel is very unorganized. Our hassle free check took an hour and they required us to walk to another location to sort everything out for them. The room, once we got in was okay. Nothing special. Needs to be cleaned. The cleaning staff walked into our room in the morning using a key- which was very surprising seeing as we hadn’t checked out. Overall, very poor and disorganized service.

Constant buzzing, various tones, clicking on and off, bright lights beaming in curtains don't close - no sleep! Also, self check-in so no service at the desk and paid parking only. On a positive note the room is clean and lovely so a great place to watch TV..
