Delta St.John'S Hotel & Conference Centre

Delta hotel is located in downtown St. John's and close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport, YYT, and the taxi companies has fixed prices to downtown for C$35. The hotel is partly renovated and has nice big rooms that are well planned. The suites are big with a nice living room for entertaining. There is a restaurant and bar on the main lobby area, and on the lower level is the indoor pool and the gym. On the 9th floor is the club lounge, which has breakfast, all day coffee and tea, and evening food from 5pm to 7pm. Parking is $25 a day, however there is on street parking around the hotel if you prefer. Overall a nice hotel for exploring St. John's and New Foundland.

My wife and I stayed there for four days on holidays. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great ( truly wonderful scrambled eggs ) as is the restaurant. Location is close to the restaurants / bars of George Street. If you are at an event at the conference center, there are covered walkways if the weather is bad.

Was here for a conference. The catered food was excellent. Staff were universally pleasant and helpful and the housekeepers did a really good job keeping my room tidy each day. Gym and pool were closed due to unexpected maintenance issues, but stay overall was excellent.
