Lake City Motel

This was a filthy room with mould around tub bathroom smelled wall paper hanging off walls cracks in walls .we checked in and found the room unacceptable, tried to checkout right away within ten minutes of seeing room .owners would not return money took $139 each room we had two rooms. Called to confirm checkin and they noticed I said I was bringing dogs for the dog show...they informed me that their limit was 25 pounds...hmm surprise...said it was ok but when I got there, I was told I could only have one dog....the day of the show set up so had to find another hotel🤬. Pet friendly is not pet friendly so beware and get it in writing. I was lucky they cancelled my reservation and hope I don't get charged a cancellation fee. Also beware that their parking lot is not made for large vehicles.

Disappointed. Floor didn't feel clean was sticky, room was cold and damp, beds very squeaky, 1 smelled like wet dog. Didn't sleep on sheets but on top covering covered with jacket. Great had mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs. Glad 2 beds as only 2 flat pillows per bed, Low water pressure, broken shower thing, no hot water sink, tap sprayed. No hair dryer or tea/coffee as stated.
