Lovey older hotel in a perfect location. Pet friendly - stayed with our Golden Retriever. Suites are perfect - large and had everything we needed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This is a great location for exploring Halifax. No need to be down by the water. Everything is walking distance. Parking garage available for guest$. Easy check in, laundromat, and complimentary water at front desk. Halifax gardens is across the street.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites. The location is excellent, right across from the Public Gardens and within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants and many of Halifax's attractions. The room was comfortable, and the hotel has a classic charm that makes it feel special. A special thank you to the housekeeping team. They recognized me each day, knew which room I was in and always asked if I needed anything. It was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel genuinely welcome. I would definitely stay here again.
