Hilton Hotel & Suites Niagara Falls/Fallsview

Originally booked at different hotel who did not have a room for us and sent us to the Hilton. No computer system. All manual checkin. 2.5 hour wait standing in line to check in. Original booking at Oakes. Do not recommend.

Wow what a hotel! The location is wonderful, being so close to the falls and the beautiful Niagara Parks. The hotel staff were super friendly and made us feel most welcome. We were very kindly given an upgrade to a room on the 32 floor which had breathtaking views over both the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls through a huge picture window. The room was spotlessly clean and felt luxurious, it even had a jacuzzi bath! Thank you to everyone at this fantastic hotel for making it a trip we will never forget!

We had originally booked at the Oakes and while driving down, were called to advise we had been moved to the Hilton. It worked out in our favour, as we were travelling for a show at the casino and so did not have to walk anywhere after dark as the hotel is connected to the venue. We got a similar room with the same amenities we'd booked at the Oakes. Great view, however, the customer service was absolutely appalling. Our room had someone else's food in the fridge and we requested 3 times for the concierge to have it cleaned. The poor woman bent over backwards trying to help us and when we asked to speak to the on duty manager, who was working the check in desk, she went over to him TWICE to try and get him to come and speak with us and was told to tell us to go stand in line. The fridge was eventually cleaned out, but the lack of attention to detail by the cleaning crew made us wonder if our towels were truly fresh, and just how "clean" our room really was. At the cost we paid, we expected better. It should not have taken over 3 hours to get our issue resolved and the complete disrespect shown to us by the manager was disgusting. We will not be staying at Hilton hotels ever again.
