Seven Oakes Motel

Clean spacious room with double bed and tv. Most electrical outlets had no covers, paint peeling from bathroom ceiling, no cover for fan, missing tiles on floor. Rust on intake vents, no coffee maker or kettle, and no insulated cups to boil water in the microwave. Bed up on wooden platform, lamp shade missing. Rooms not good for handicap, there was 10" step up into the room. Big pothole coming into the hotel from highway

Being retired with limited funds this motel was one of the lowest priced at $200 per night (we booked for two nights). The greeting staff were terrific, however once we got to our room (#12) we were "surprised". By that furniture was old, no hangar space, peeling ceiling in bathroom; tap in tub was ready to fall off. Other negative comments include a swimming pool (empty) and a jacuzzi that we couldn't find. As well it appeared that this motel housed immigrants awaiting housing. On the positive side the bed was comfortable, water pressure was great, TV was 40 inch, bar fridge worked, wall air conditioner worked and there was a microwave. In closing, I'll sped the extra dollars to move up in the Kingston motels next time we visit

We booked this to drop off kids at University with the family. This property is terrible and falsely advertised and pricey. The towels were threadbare, torn and stained. When we asked for different towels we were told they are all stained but they are clean! The toilet seat did not fit the toilet and the toilet itself leaked all over the bathroom. The air conditioning unit had moldy fluff all over it. The foldout couch had bloodstains on mattress and was unusable. The bed blankets had burn holes. We slept in all our clothes as we didn’t want any of the bedding touching us. They advertised a jacuzzi on the sign- no such thing. They advertised a pool- it obviously is in disrepair and hasn’t had water in it for years. They advertised a park- ancient unsafe equipment. The rooms were smelly. The front office was very run down. I would not recommend this to anyone. Stay away.
