The only this good about this hotel (?) was the greeting the Front Desk check-in staff. The hotel room condition and location was not as advertised, pictured or contracted (See our posted photos). Advertised as a "Courtyard Suite," it was actually a motel-like room up a few chipped outside steps and wooden ramps facing a floodlight lit parking lot (the room not in the actual main hotel building). FACTS REGARDING. ACTUAL ROOM (See pics): Standard size room w one chair; non-working phone (reported to the front desk); Shower with no place to put soap or shampoo but on floor-unsanitary (See photo); Curtains that do not close fully, so people could peer in, necessitating our changing in the small bathroom; A rug that does not feel clean with ripped sign on door (See photo); Bedsheets that do not tuck in behind head portion of bed; Floodlighting coming in all night from parking lot (they advertise as a courtyard); no safe, and too much more. Worse yet, on the way to the room, people in other rooms are on their beds peering out their windows-terrible for children to see! WE HAD TO CHECK OUT AFTER ONE NIGHT without a refund because they refused to provide an adequate room. We are still awaiting our booking agent to stand by their posting. NOTE: AS you can see, we do not post such negative reviews, usually just ignoring it. However, the inability of this hotel to honor their posting is terrible. A clear "Bait & Switch" (Cf. Photos).

My family and I happened to book this hotel through a Groupon deal and had a terrible experience. To begin with, the Groupon deal was extremely misleading. The photos advertised on site vs the reality of the situation were very different. Right from the quality of the bed to the hygiene levels. The beds kept creeks by on two people sleeping/turning around. The sheets were the incorrect size and 1/3rd of the bed was without sheet. No mattress covers, nothing. My daughter’s room had someone’s used underwear behind the TV dresser which was absolutely filthy and shocking. If housekeeping didn’t pick that up then one can only wonder if the rooms were even cleaned/sanitized properly before the next check in. Additionally, we had passes to the restaurant next door called Remingtons- we were told it was a 25% discount on all remittances in the restaurant when we checked in, however, on dining in at the restaurant we were told a different story. Apparently it was 25% only on 2 entrees. We were not told. Our experience at the restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare and that’s a review on the restaurant, for another time.
Additionally, we were also given complimentary breakfast for 2 at their in-house restaurant. While the menu was limited and restrictive on egg choices(only scrambled and sunny side up were included. An omelette, that’s easier to make when compared to a scramble, was additional charge) on the complimentary deal, the service was terrible. We were met with extremely rude servers that were just not interested in getting us food- probably assuming that a complimentary breakfast wouldn’t invite a tip? Who knows! It took us 55 mins to get two orders of toast, scramble eggs and house fries. We weren’t even served water and had to ask and wait another 30’mins just for water.
Overall, the experience was terrible. We wouldn’t stay here even if someone offered us a free night. This hotel, the staff, the service and the hygiene levels were abysmal and we paid $140 CAD per room that was a total waste of money. Giving it even 1star is generosity. Other customers- please beware before booking.
