DAYS INN & SUITES - NIAGARA FALLS, CENTRE ST., BY THE FALLS

From the moment we arrived, our experience was incredibly disappointing. The Guest Services Manager at the front desk was unkind, unprofessional, and completely unaccommodating. It felt as though our arrival was an inconvenience rather than being welcomed as paying guests. Prior to our arrival, we had requested two rooms with two queen beds in each, located close to one another and on the top floor. We fully understand that special requests cannot always be guaranteed, but none of our requests were accommodated, and there was no effort made to explain the situation or offer any alternatives. The lack of customer service at check-in immediately set the tone for the rest of our experience. The property itself appeared to have a significant mold issue. The smell throughout the lobby, hallways, and rooms was overwhelming and difficult to ignore. Within minutes of entering the building, the odor was noticeable and became even stronger in our room. It did not feel like a clean or healthy environment. Before we decided to leave and book another hotel, my daughter went to use the pool. The pool area was visibly unclean, and to make matters worse, there was a guest smoking in the pool. The fact that this was allowed to happen speaks volumes about the overall atmosphere of the property and the lack of oversight from management. The room itself was unacceptable. The floors were sticky, there appeared to be blood on the walls, mold was visible on the bathroom mirrors, and the bedding looked dirty and poorly maintained. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned. We immediately felt uncomfortable and did not feel confident that the room was sanitary. We stayed for less than an hour before deciding there was no way we could spend the night there. Thankfully, we were able to cancel and book accommodations elsewhere. Leaving was by far the best part of our experience.I understand that I booked an inn and was not expecting a luxury resort. We simply needed a clean, safe place to sleep after a full day of activities. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet even the most basic expectations for cleanliness, professionalism, and guest service. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Between the rude reception upon arrival, the overwhelming smell throughout the property, the filthy room conditions, and the lack of basic standards in common areas, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are too many other options available to spend your money here. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere.

Walking distance to falls, Clifton hill attraction. Cleaned rooms and nice staff. Parking is $19 but $10 right beside hotel

The room was clean. The view was the Ferris wheel which you could see the falls. Great location. Walked everywhere. It was quiet. The towels are a big thing with me when I travel. Their towels were small and ruff, but the bed was great! The staff were all very friendly and kind. At checkout David was so kind and funny.
