Where to start??? The room was dirty and discussing. They claim to have movies on the TV, there is only one channel, mostly news. The walls, floor and bathroom were dirty. The bed was barely made. I took the sheets off the bed and found the bed had been PEED in, The pillow protected cover was stained with saliva. I had to clean the room myself. There was no coffee maker, nor microwave. And for the pool, well it had maybe 6" water in it . I paid around $60.00 a night and that was $59.99 more than it is worth. I saw the staff only once and that was upon check in. It was quite because I was the only guest.

Dirty bed. Sheets were ok (tried not to look too close). The underside of the comforter on top had enough human hair to make a wig. Imagin if the top side was put under special light. Paint falling off outside of entry door to room. No chain lock or inside. Any regular key opens lock (any key in your pocket. Walls, doors, light switches & covers filthy. Mirror in room so dirty you can barely see your reflection. After we finally got tv to work, we couldn’t get more than 3 channels. Tv box just dangling under tv by cable cord. Volume on remote doesn’t work. Small 50 yr old fridge in room (filthy inside & out) freezes everything. Mouse turds on top of closet shelf. Hole smashed in wall where door handle hit. 50yr. old mattress on bed ready for dump. Bedside electrical wouldn’t hold phone charger (kept falling out & wouldn’t contact the electrical. Pillow cases stained. Neighbours ac wouldn’t work (33 degrees during day & 26 degrees outside at night) for the couple days we were there. Our ac worked but only blew freezing cold air, so we had to turn on & off as needed. (Our ac only had one dial. )Stench of Currie beyond belief. Could hear next room over having sex. No ice machine. Wifi didn’t work. Took great effort to get a couple extra pillows. (Only 2 in bed). Room carpet looks fairly clean but im sure isn’t. Shower had lots of hot water. Room towels were clean. I’ve stayed in a lot of cities, towns, countries & resorts. Have driven to Florida multiple times & stayed in roadside motel for $10/night. I’ve stayed in 2* Cuban hotels & resorts & more often than not quite enjoy the experience. Not at this place though. It was weekend when we stayed & only pd. $107 per night so for the two nights with taxes it was just under $250. (Free parking) & vehicle didn’t get vandalized, stolen or broken into. $25 per night including taxes would have been too much. Stay somewhere else. This place should be condemned. Come during the week &/or off season when the nice places are affordable. Who the heck wants to pay $500-$800 per night for them on weekends during prime season.

I stayed in room 103, after going up the stair to the 2nd floor, the main front door to all the rooms is propped opened by a 2x4. To the right, all the dirt, cigarettes butts and trash, the railing is propped up and unpainted (See photos). The bed and the room is ok The shower room is a nightmare: dirty (see photo). I pull the shower pin, it came off in my hand. I had to screw it in to take a shower which ran half and half to the tub and shower head. I also saw 2 trash bags lying on the outside of the first floor from the time I checked in until I checked out. The owner neglect the basic maintenance of a motel. Shame on them for not providing guests the basic cleanliness of a motel!
