Motel 6 Toronto-Mississauga

Do not stay here !!! My experience at this motel was deplorable to say the least. Its owned and run by dirty east Indians; the place in itself is dirty in all public areas, outside, and in the room. It literally needs to reported to Health Canada. It is dog friendly motel and hence I asked front desk to have the cleaning staff clean up the carpet of dog sh..it near one of the exit doors and it was left there for about a week before I complained a 3rd time to have it removed. The surrounding grounds had lots of dog sh..it not picked up from other guests. The room itself was dirty including the rooms entry door, counters, table, shelves and washroom with other guests finger prints, smudges. The room definitely was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. I heard the same from other guests I met while I was there. Also the bedsheets didn't seem clean and floors were sticky and gross. There cleaning staff is managed by an older lady and east Indian girls who's method of cleaning is a simple wipe, in and out and I am all done....not! While I was there I witnessed the Police presence several times trying to keep the peace among their guests. Very transient people stay there long term. It was loud at night and difficult to sleep. Again, I don't recommend this place to anyone. Love yourself a little more and spend a little more on yourself to be able to enjoy your stay somewhere. Rooms1.0Service1.0Location2.0

Terrible experience. They overbooked! Booked on 19 June 2022 to stay for 3 nights from 3-6 September 2022 prior to a flight back to the UK. Received a voice message on Monday morning 29 August (6 days before arrival) saying the hotel had overbooked and they needed to cancel the booking. The lady said to call reservations or the hotel direct as they would try to find us alternative accommodation. After 4 days of telephone calls to reservations and customer service I was not able to resolve if the room would be available. Tried calling Motel 6 direct but after more than 30 calls over the same period they either would not pick up or the telephone was out of order. Reservations staff could not get through to them either. Reservations/customer services staff emailed the hotel direct a couple of times too asking the hotel to call me urgently. No response. I was provided with an email address on 30 August to email the hotel myself. No reply from the hotel. So after 4 days and with only 2 days before arrival and not knowing if I turned up on 3 September if I would have a room, I had to cancel the booking online and rebook with another nearby hotel at considerable more expense. The dates booked are over a holiday weekend and comparable hotels were either full or considerable more expensive. Do not book with this hotel. You don’t know if you will get a room even if you book well in advance and get confirmation.

Rude small white female front desk staff. threatening and trying to intimidate you over the phone and counter. As soon as we enter in the lobby hear a lot of people too complaining about their rooms. No AC on their building. they will tell you open your window. we go out in the hotel and find somewhere else we cant sleep because rooms where smelly and hot. Don’t book here waste of time and money!!! Our first time in Motel 6 never again!!
