Recommended hotel, practical and well-served by the metro. A short distance away you can find the Canadian parliament buildings and the art gallery. Check-in and check-out operations were very fast. I was pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade: they gave me a very large room with a king-size bed and a kind of small living room with armchairs and a sofa. Room equipped with a small minibar and a nice large television. The room had a view of the street but was still quiet. Excellent value for money.

Picked this hotel because I wanted hotel parking on the hill to make sight seeing easier. Dismayed to discover that there are so few parking spots that hotel guests cannot trust a space will be available at the end of a long day. So then you get to search for other parking on the hill or wait for one of the evening staff to finish their shift to steal their spot. Stayed as part of a conference and wish I had chosen one of the other options. I had to make two separate, consecutive reservations to stay for the full week, using two different promo codes because even the 1-800 number could not connect the two. When we arrived, the front desk promised that they would try to leave us in the same room but ultimately they did not. Then on the day of the transfer, the hotel staff planned to refuse me a late checkout/early check-in, leaving me without a room for the day. After a protest, they "unexpectedly" discovered that in fact they did have a clean room available after all. It should never have gotten to that point.
