Far from the city center, noisy and old air conditioning, poor air conditioner cleaning. Small space for the toilet.

The hotel is definitely starting to show its age a little bit, but it was well kept for what we needed were comfortable and clean andit had all the amenities we needed for a night stay. Free breakfast in the morning and the staff were friendly and attentive. We stay there every year when we go to Bluff Park for fishing on Lake Ontario and it always does us well.

This was, without question, one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced.
From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong unpleasant odor. The room smelled stale and unclean, and the smell persisted throughout our stay. The adjoining-room door was particularly concerning. Not only did it allow significant noise transfer between rooms, but it did not feel secure and appeared poorly sealed. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, and odors seemed to travel freely through the connecting door. As a result, we felt that both our privacy and comfort were compromised.
The condition of the room left much to be desired. The room itself felt worn and poorly maintained. The chairs in the lobby were visibly stained to the point that I asked my husband not to sit on it because it appeared unsanitary.
The bedding was equally disappointing. We booked a king-size room for two adults and were provided with only three pillows. The pillows were extremely small—honestly smaller than some of the throw cushions on my living room couch—and offered little comfort or support. For a king-size bed, the pillow arrangement and quality were entirely inadequate.
To make matters worse, despite smoking only outside and responsibly disposing of cigarette butts afterward, I was later accused of smoking inside the room and had my security deposit withheld. I have disputed this allegation and provided evidence supporting my position.
The hotel was aware that I was in Toronto for a cardiac procedure. Within approximately an hour of being discharged from heart surgery, I was contacted regarding the alleged smoking violation and security deposit dispute. Given my medical condition and immediate post-operative recovery, I found the interaction unnecessarily stressful and upsetting at a time when my focus should have been on recovery.
While I understand that hotels must enforce their policies, I was disappointed by the manner and timing of the communication, particularly when I was actively recovering from a medical procedure
I understand that not every hotel is a luxury property, and my expectations were reasonable. However, I do expect a clean room, functional and secure accommodations, adequate bedding, and fair treatment. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet even those basic standards.
Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.
