Hotel-Motel Baie-Sainte-Catherine

Stay here if there are no other options, rooms are empty boxes, plumbing not great, staff were unfriendly and very overpriced for what it is. The only nice thing is the view over the bay. Stay in Tadoussac....much nicer

This small town motel is very close to the Saguenay ferry and right off the highway. Our room was like a small cottage room with separate bathroom. It was newly renovated and very clean. The owner was super accommodating and helpful to us English-speaking travelers in this very French town. Some travelers might find the highway noise unpleasant but it didn't bother us one bit and we had the most marvelous sunrise over the bay out our window in the morning. We would definitely choose this motel again.

We stayed in this motel last summer for its proximity to our whale watching trip. Located only minutes from the dock, this was a small motel by the highway. The rooms were very small but clean. We stayed in rooms away from the main building. It was a bit noisy due to traffic on the road. For the price we paid it was on the expensive side. If we go there again we will stay in Tadoussac instead for it has more lodging choice and is also off highway.
