Hebergement Mont-Sainte-Anne

I called this hotel to book a room for 4 nights in June and was given what seemed like a good price; it’s a Canadian hotel and I live in Canada. When I got the notice of payment to my credit card it said US dollars. The ‘good price’ wasn’t so good with the exchange rate. I wasn’t told that the rate was USD and why does a Canadian resort charge USD? I immediately called back to cancel the reservation but it was already charged to my credit card so now I’ll have to pay for the difference in exchange.

We read many poor reviews of Hebergement that made us worry about our booking before we arrived. However, we have been very happy with our stay and wanted to provide a positive review. As a start, there is no public transport that goes to Mont-Sainte-Anne ski resort in winter. Therefore, it is either taxi or uber. We booked a 2-bedroom ski-in ski-out apartment. The apartment is advertised to accommodate for 6. There were only 3 of us and the apartment was very comfortable. The decor of the apartment is modern. The kitchen had an oven and is well equipped. There is a laundry on each floor. They are coin operated. The apartment we were allocated faced the Mont-Sainte-Anne ski centre and south of the mountain. The view was beautiful. We also got to see the New Year’s Eve fireworks from our bedroom window! We were also very lucky with the weather making it a wonderful ski experience. The mountain has a full range of trails suitable for beginners and the very advanced skiers. The pub and cafe at the ski centre provided delicious meals that are reasonably priced. The reception staff, Maude, of Hebergement had also been very helpful, kind and considerate. She is a great asset to the organisation!

Old and old-fashioned. Very small station cooks then no dishwasher, no filter coffee maker, fridge yellow but functional... Bath plug broken, counter cracked... Windows on the ceiling of the entrance; weird! Double bed in a superior suite; really too small for 2 adults. Sofa bed not super comfortable; too hollow in the center. Old-fashioned, but functional fireplace.
