Free vehicle parking, free hot breakfast, wi-fi - that's basically what you need in a hotel. And they have all three. Reason for an average rating? Here's a few... The thermostat - no matter how you adjust the a/c, it stays the same temp all throughout. The hallway lighting was dark. The hallway carpet looks old and probably not vacuumed for a long time. Price was rather high for this place as well, book someplace else if given the chance.

Everything was perfect for this 4-night/2-room stay booked directly on the hotel's website. Friendly welcome upon arrival. Upon arrival, we added a late check-out of +2 hours, so 26 CAD including taxes. Changing our plans, the hotel made no difficulty in canceling it and refunding us. The parking lot is large, the hotel is large and comfortable, the rooms are very good and spacious: very good bedding, bathroom very good too. Be careful, cleaning and towel changes are not done every day but every 2 or 3 days. Acceptable when you see the price difference compared to downtown hotels. Breakfast buffet starting at 6:30 on weekdays and 7:00 on weekends: it is good, we go back up to the room with the smell of the breakfast room impregnated on our clothes. Some guests are noisy in the morning!! Laundry room with washer and dryer for approx 2 CAD per value unit. Very professional and friendly staff. Proximity of the hotel to the REM (Réseau Express Métropolitain) (train) at Panama station. Better to go by car with free parking limited in spaces: on Saturday around 9:30 we were able to park there. On Monday around 10:30 no, it was full: there is another paid parking lot not far from Panama station, for about 10 CAD for the day. In any case, for us, going to visit Montreal was only conceivable with the REM and the metro or bus connections: a flat-rate card of about 13 CAD per day for access to zones A and B (because Panama station is zone B). For all these reasons we had an excellent stay at this Brossard hotel, if I had to come back I would come back here for the Price / proximity to Montreal / accessibility / level of service compromise that it represents and which corresponds exactly to what we are looking for. The proof? About 10 years ago we had booked our stay at this hotel, and changing our plans we had to cancel a few days before. The hotel made no difficulty, it is a gesture that we remember, and this time we were able to come and enjoy our stay.

I stayed for three nights but was finally charged for five after relying on an arrangement made with the front desk. The hotel later agreed in writing to refund two nights, but never provided a workable refund process and eventually stopped responding. Check out time was 11:00 a.m. Because I had a meeting, I spoke with the front desk and agreed to check out before11:30. I actually checked out at approximately 11:20, yet they still charged me an additional $10. My overall impression is that this hotel is excessively focused on collecting every possible charge while failing to honour what its own staff agreed to. I have kept the booking records and email correspondence, and I am now being forced to pursue the matter through Québec’s consumer-protection process and Small Claims Court.
